A Movie About Absolutely Nothing

Posted : 7 months, 2 weeks ago on 5 January 2008 03:40 (A review of Factory Girl)

...and oh how i loved it. As any artistic movie should be, there is really no plot but the life and times of Andy Warhol and those surrounding him. Sienna miller is hot and brilliant, followed up by hottie Hayden Christensen. My GOD do they make a gorgeous movie couple. Anyway, its about the rise and fall of a celebrity. It happens everyday.

very well depicted

life of disturbed girl, or rather the series of disturbances that occur to the poor girl, and the mother in jail who is giving her misleading, closed minded advice.
certainly not the story of my life, but the movie helps me see clearer through the eyes of those who lived through something similar.

i know i'm a sucker for chick flicks but this one certainly touched me more genuinely than most. a depiction of a variety of situations all to do with love.
they could have put a gay one in there though. :)

my FAVORITE film ever.

Posted : 10 months ago on 19 October 2007 10:04 (A review of Amélie)

where do i start? i can't possibly imagine giving it less than 11/10, but there's no such score here. amelie, like to so many others, defines my life. for optimists, creatives, or those needing of a boost in daily life, get that by watching this enriched, beautifuly depicted film of a girl trying to find love.
While she is quiet, and shy, the story encourages the audience to look behind her words and more at her actions. Another commentary claimed she has no personality. Check out her other movies and get a perspective. She's amazing.

The soundtrack kicks ass, to boot!
